Jewelry Make & Take Class

At Factory Two I occasionally taught a jewelry make and take class. I taught people to design pair of earrings in Inkscape, how to laser cut them out of acrylic and how to stain them with alcohol ink.

Duration: 2017 – 2020

Challenge: For a make and take class, everyone should leave with a final product. There was no guarantee that everyone would be able to design a unique pair of earrings after using Inkscape for the first time.

Solution: I made the instructions as detailed as possible, but also prepared a few earring designs that people could use. Each participant made 2 pairs of earrings.
